Early Childhood Dance Residency
This long-term residency, ranging from 10-32 weeks, introduces students grades Pre-K-3 to the language of dance. Dance teaching artists collaborate with teachers to actively engage students in dance as a tool for communication and self-expression. Students work independently and in groups to learn basic movement and choreographic skills in music and rhythmic contexts. This residency focuses on preparing students for continuing instruction in dance.
