Encores! Treasures
On April 4th New York City Center had the pleasure of honoring our very own Encores! Artistic Directors Walter Bobbie, Kathleen Marshall and Jack Viertel with a special tribute at The Plaza Hotel, featuring guest artists Jason Danieley, Christopher Fitzgerald, Rebecca Luker, Marin Mazzie, James Naughton, Bebe Neuwirth and Emily Skinner.
The evening was an Encores! family affair, beginning with an overture by members of the Encores! Orchestra led by Music Director Rob Berman. Christopher Fitzgerald was the witty host and the tributes to each honoree were heart-felt and endearing. The finale was a presentation of bobble heads to each honoree, created in their own likeness!
We are thankful to the many artists who donated their time, our Board of Directors and Gala Committee members, and of course, all who attended and supported the event.
