New York City Center’s presentations range from the international diversity of our
Fall for Dance Festival to the legacy of American musical theater, preserved through our
Encores! series. Through year-round educational outreach, our Mainstage programs reach nearly 5,000 New York City public school students across all five boroughs, allowing them to experience the joy and cultural awareness of an education grounded in the performing arts.
Major Gifts from individuals play a vital role in our ability to continue these programs each season, as ticket sales cover only a portion of our annual operating expenses. Major Donors can direct support to a general category, such as our annual dance season or education programs; or a specific series, such as
Encores!; or the
Fall for Dance Festival.
