Experience the very best the dance world has to offer at the 13th annual Fall for Dance Festival, where you’ll see world-renowned companies performing alongside daring new artists. The Festival’s five programs feature three world premieres and a more international slate of companies than ever before. Whether it's the exuberant Brazilian troupe Grupo Corpo, the supremely beautiful Hong Kong Ballet, or the primal power of Australia's Bangarra Dance Theatre, this year’s Festival will introduce you to an entire world of dance.
We’re thrilled to continue Fall for Dance’s commissioning program with a new work from Elizabeth Streb, a brilliantly kinetic choreographer who routinely asks her “action-hero” dancers to plunge from great heights and smash through panes of glass. The second Fall for Dance commission will bring together two of today’s most celebrated ballet stars, Alessandra Ferri and Herman Cornejo, in a duet created for them by world-renowned choreographer Wayne McGregor. Ferri is just one of the legendary ballerinas coming to Fall for Dance. The Festival also features New York City Ballet icon Wendy Whelan and international ballet star Alina Cojocaru—who will dance in Frederick Ashton’s rarely-seen 1963 masterpiece Marguerite and Armand.
