Single Room (excerpt) is adapted and revised from its original version, which debuted in 2002. Mr. Bulareyaung custom-made this new solo for Ms. Sheu. With a simple long table set on the center of the stage, Ms. Sheu takes this object as her partner, narrating her loneliness in the relationship. Single Room is a moving story about how lovers keep balanced in love; Ms. Sheu’s dancing brings out the sensations of the piece.
