“Madhavi Mudgal tells us how it feels to dance – anticipation, endurance and closure can be read on her face. Seeing her fingers trill like a coloratura negotiating an aria is a thrill.”
– George Jackson, DanceviewTimes.com, Washington, October 2009
“Madhavi Mudgal was mesmerizing in the world premiere of Odissi: Pravaha, an invocation to Shiva, the Lord of Dance. There was incredible precision and detail in her hands and feet, accompanied by a clear sense of rhythm.”
– Evan Namerow, DancingPerfectlyFree.com, New York, September 2008
