Paris Opera Ballet, one of the most prestigious dance companies in the world, brings a brand-new work from Hofesh Shechter, “London’s most vital choreographer” (Time Out London), in their first major New York engagement since 2012.
Critically acclaimed on two continents, this “generous, boundless, turbo-charged” evening (The Spectator) stars Tiler Peck, joined by Chun Wai Chan, Michelle Dorrance, Lex Ishimoto, Brooklyn Mack, Roman Mejia, Mira Nadon, and more; featuring spellbinding works by Peck, Dorrance, Jillian Meyers, Alonzo King, and William Forsythe.
The world-renowned Dutch National Ballet returns to New York City for their first major engagement in over four decades. Enjoy two stunning programs highlighting works by Jerome Robbins, Hans van Manen, Jiří Kylián, Alexei Ratmansky, and more, featuring performances by former Bolshoi stars Olga Smirnova and Jacopo Tissi.

Get ready for the 22nd Fall for Dance Festival on sale, Sun Aug 24 at 11am. This lineup from US and abroad includes The Stuttgart Ballet, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Social Tango Project, San Francisco Ballet, Hugo Marchand, Clara Furey/Bent Hollow, kNoname Artist | Roderick George, and more. As always, every seat in the house is still just $20 plus $10 in fees, so get ready to fall in love with dance all over again—or for the first time!
New York City Center’s Principal Dance Company since 1971 returns for another joyous five-week engagement. This season raises the curtain on Ailey’s next era under the leadership of new Artistic Director Alicia Graf Mack. Audiences will be treated to classic works from the Ailey repertory—including the touchstone of inspiration, Revelations—and new works by contemporary choreographers.
This exhilarating double bill co-presented by Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels brings together works from either side of the century divide: Merce Cunningham’s 1999 masterpiece BIPED, which incorporates cutting-edge technology into the dance; and Mycelium, which represents the US debut of rising choreographic star and Rose International Dance Prize winner Christos Papadopoulos.
The Flamenco Festival celebrates its 25th year at City Center with an incredible two-week lineup of flamenco legends and rising stars direct from Spain. This year’s milestone Festival features Sara Baras, Estévez / Paños y Compañía, and more.
The oldest working dance company in the US celebrates its 100th year with five unmissable performances, featuring Martha Graham masterworks along with new works from Jamar Roberts and Baye & Asa. An extraordinary centennial creation will round out the programs, and the classic Graham scores will once again be brought to life by the Mannes Orchestra.
Experience another exciting season, including the return of Dance Theatre of Harlem classic, Firebird, where a Russian folk tale about the triumph of love over evil is reimagined in a luscious Caribbean setting designed by Geoffrey Holder, as well as recent works by Artistic Director Robert Garland.
MUJERES: Women in Motion is the company’s second season dedicated entirely to female choreographers. This program elevates women’s voices through choreography, featuring electrifying works from Cassi Abranches, Marianela Boán, and more. Plus the joyful, interactive En Familia matinee returns, where every seat in the house is $25.
Étoile Hugo Marchand, “the starriest of the Paris Opera Ballet’s stars” (The New York Times) headlines City Center’s Artists at the Center. Marchand will dazzle in Maurice Béjart’s triumphant Boléro alongside 18 dancers from the Béjart Ballet Lausanne, a pas de deux from Angelin Preljocaj’s sensuous Le Parc with fellow Étoile Dorothée Gilbert, and more.
