Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater

Dec 3, 2025 – Jan 4, 2026

New York City Center’s Principal Dance Company since 1971 returns for another joyous five-week engagement. This season raises the curtain on Ailey’s next era under the leadership of new Artistic Director Alicia Graf Mack. Audiences will be treated to classic works from the Ailey repertory—including the touchstone of inspiration, Revelations—and new works by contemporary choreographers.

This exhilarating double bill co-presented by Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels brings together works from either side of the century divide: Merce Cunningham’s 1999 masterpiece BIPED, which incorporates cutting-edge technology into the dance; and Mycelium, which represents the US debut of rising choreographic star and Rose International Dance Prize winner Christos Papadopoulos.

25th Flamenco Festival

Feb 26 – Mar 8, 2026

The Flamenco Festival celebrates its 25th year at City Center with an incredible two-week lineup of flamenco legends and rising stars direct from Spain. This year’s milestone Festival features Sara Baras, Estévez / Paños y Compañía, and more.

Martha Graham Dance Company

Apr 9 – 12, 2026

The oldest working dance company in the US celebrates its 100th year with five unmissable performances, featuring Martha Graham masterworks along with new works from Jamar Roberts and Baye & Asa. An extraordinary centennial creation will round out the programs, and the classic Graham scores will once again be brought to life by the Mannes Orchestra.

Dance Theatre of Harlem

APr 16 – 19, 2026

Experience another exciting season, including the return of Dance Theatre of Harlem classic, Firebird, where a Russian folk tale about the triumph of love over evil is reimagined in a luscious Caribbean setting designed by Geoffrey Holder, as well as recent works by Artistic Director Robert Garland
 

Ballet Hispánico

APr 23 – 26, 2026

MUJERES: Women in Motion is the company’s second season dedicated entirely to female choreographers. This program elevates women’s voices through choreography, featuring electrifying works from Cassi Abranches, Marianela Boán, and more. Plus the joyful, interactive En Familia matinee returns, where every seat in the house is $25.

Étoile Hugo Marchand, “the starriest of the Paris Opera Ballet’s stars” (The New York Times) headlines City Center’s Artists at the Center. Marchand will dazzle in Maurice Béjart’s triumphant Boléro alongside 18 dancers from the Béjart Ballet Lausanne, a pas de deux from Angelin Preljocaj’s sensuous Le Parc with fellow Étoile Dorothée Gilbert, and more.
