Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, New York City Center’s Principal Dance Company and a beloved cultural ambassador, returns for a five-week engagement, which is a joyous holiday tradition.

This milestone season raises the curtain on Ailey’s next era under the leadership of new Artistic Director Alicia Graf Mack, guided, as ever, by Alvin Ailey’s pioneering legacy.

The Company continues to break ground with world premiere works from Fredrick Earl Mosley, Maija García, Matthew Neenan, Jamar Roberts, and Jawole Willa Jo Zollar in collaboration with Samantha Figgins and Chalvar Monteiro that promise to propel dance in exhilarating new directions.  

Don’t miss these debut works along with the company premiere of Medhi Walerski’s Blink of an Eye, commissioned by City Center, and returning favorites from the Ailey repertory that have uplifted fans for decades—including Ailey's iconic Revelations, Ronald K. Brown’s pulse-pounding Grace, Alonzo King’s thrilling Following the Subtle Current Upstream, and more.
