Come behind the scenes for a firsthand look at the making of a musical theater professional in City Center’s new master class series, Front and Center: Learning from the Masters. Tony Award-winning director Bartlett Sher (Fiddler on the Roof, South Pacific, The Light in the Piazza) will host “Reasons to Go Places,” a class designed for emerging theater directors that will offer snapshots of the layered and complex art of interpretation. Elements of the art of directing will be explored in approaches to verse, design, movement, and realization.

This master class will take place in front of a ticketed audience. Vigorous participation will be expected.
