Gavin Creel’s master class, Popservations: Demystifying Pop/Rock Music in the Theater, is designed to help students become more comfortable with performing pop songs in a theater setting. By examining song structure, popular recordings, and personal vocal performance, Creel encourages students to work outside their comfort zones to discover new ways to approach the material. Audience members are welcome to engage in the conversation that celebrates pop music in the theater sphere.

Front & Center: Learning from the Masters, an exclusive City Center series, offers a behind-the-scenes look at the making of a musical theater professional. Now in its second season, audiences have a chance to watch Tony Award-winning theater veterans as they coach emerging artists on skills that are vital on and off the stage.
