All tickets $30
In Kathleen Marshall’s master class, Making a Broadway Dance Ensemble, participating artists learn multiple dance combinations in different styles and receive guidance and feedback on their interpretation, technique, and presentation of the material. Audience members observe and gain insight into building an ensemble through the unique lens of the director/choreographer.
Front and Center: Learning from the Masters, an exclusive City Center series, offers a behind-the-scenes look at the making of a musical theater professional. Now in its second season, audiences have a chance to watch Tony Award-winning theater veterans—actor Gavin Creel (Hello, Dolly!; She Loves Me), director/choreographer Kathleen Marshall (Anything Goes; The Pajama Game), and actress Kelli O’Hara (The King and I; The Bridges of Madison County)—as they coach emerging artists on skills that are vital on and off the stage.
Artists will be chosen through an online audition process beginning September 5.
