THINKING ON YOUR FEET

Kate Baldwin (Hello, Dolly!, upcoming in Love Life at City Center) teaches a master class that invites participants into the immediacy of what they are about to do as performers. Focusing on asking what has happened to their character in the moment before the music begins, students launch into their songs for a deep dive into their material. Using tools from her own experience, Baldwin will lead performers through a dissection of the surprising components of a song you may not have considered until now.

Front & Center studio events run approximately one hour and 30 minutes.

AUDITION INFORMATION
Participants are chosen through an online audition process and partake in the master class for free. More details about how to apply will be available in February.
