This Monday evening series of conversations and performances is an opportunity to hear from today’s great dance artists in the intimate setting of our historic studios.

Dance Lab New York continues its commitment to advancing the work of female voices of color in ballet by providing them with creative residencies in partnership with The Joyce Theater Foundation. Four choreographers—Jasmine Hearn, Tiffany Mangulabnan, Alethea Pace, and Yusha-Marie Sorzano—had the freedom to explore classical, neoclassical, and contemporary ballet idioms. Moderated by Josh Prince and Renae Williams Niles, this special Studio 5 event presents informal showings of their works in process featuring dancers James Anthony, Brandon Carpio, Ramona Kelley, Cortney Taylor Key, Jocelyn Iris Rajkumar, Austin Joseph Reynolds, Kayla Schutz, and Malcolm Miles Young, followed by discussions of their approaches to dance making.
