Barbara and David Zalaznick Studio

Overview

Overview

This intimate event moderated by Marina Harss offers a peek behind the scenes as Tiler Peck and her collaborators work in the studio to prepare for their upcoming Artists at the Center performances (Mar 4 – 6). As the inaugural artist curator of this new series, Peck has assembled some of today’s most exciting dance artists for a virtuosic, deeply personal program.

In advance of the mainstage performances, this event includes discussion about and selections from Peck’s Thousandth Orange, Alonzo King’s Swift Arrow, and the World Premiere City Center Commission Time Spell, Peck’s collaboration with tap dance artist Michelle Dorrance and Jillian Meyers. Performers Herman Cornejo, Michelle Dorrance, Jovani Furlan, Lauren Lovette, Roman Mejia, Byron Tittle, and Peck herself will be featured, with insights from Alonzo King, and piano accompaniment by Sequoia Snyder and Chelsea de Souza.

Approved masks must be worn by all audience members, staff, and crew.
